Receiving cash or other offline donation in Generous

On top of donations via online campaigns, you can also add an over-the-counter cash donation, or capture a contribution made over the phone.

1. Log on to Generous, and click Finance > Gift History.
2. Click Add Gift, and fill out the required information.
3. From the Payment Type list, select Cash ( or a debit card if it is an over-the-phone donation), and enter a donation amount. 
4. Click Create.

The donation is recorded against the campaign you had selected.
