Service plans and fees

Generous for Charity has three customer plans. 

They are, 

  • LITE $0 per month
  • ESSENTIALS $50 per month 
  • PREMIUM $350 per month

Rather than charging a large set monthly fee the Generous for Charity platform is priced to grow with your organisation. Saving you large upfront fees.

In fact, you can get started for $0 cost per month on the LITE plan!

Also, we don't charge an onboarding or set-up fee!1 

All plans have 4 different fees (depending on your requirements).

  1. A monthly system fee (as noted above)
  2. A "user" platform fee (varies)
  3. A "user" merchant fee [bank merchant & gateway fee] (varies) 
  4. A monthly module fee (optional)

Starting with a LITE PLAN which only charges when donations are made.

  • The fee charged for this plan is made up of the following
  1. A $0 monthly subscription fee
  2. A 3% user platform fee - per transaction
  3. A merchant fee of 2% for credit card, or a 1% fee2 for direct debit using 'our' banking Merchant and Gateway. 
  4. (Optional) Module fees (see below)

As your use grows you can step up to the higher plans and benefit by reducing your platform and merchant fees.  

The ESSENTIALS PLAN is the most popular for most charities starting out.  

  • The fee charged for this plan is made up of the following
  1. A $50 monthly subscription fee
  2. A 2% user platform fee - per transaction
  3. A merchant fee of 2% for credit card, or a 0.75% fee2 for direct debit using 'our' banking Merchant and Gateway OR use your own Merchant Provider plus + a 1% gateway fee. 
  4. (Optional) Module fees (see below)

The PREMIUM PLAN provides your organisation with a priority service!

  • The fee charged for this plan is made up of the following
    1. A $350 monthly subscription fee (or $3600 per annum) 
    2. A 1% user platform fee - per transaction
    3. A merchant fee of 2% for credit card, or a 0.5% fee2 for direct debit using 'our' banking Merchant and Gateway OR use your own Merchant Provider plus + a 0.5% gateway fee.  
    4. All Modules (see below) are included in the monthly fee (if required)

(Optional) Module Charges

You may choose to include one or more of the following integrations. 

  • FINANCE integration with Xero or Quickbooks Online ($50 per month)
  • EMAIL integration with MailChimp or Campaign Monitor ($30 per month)
  • CRM integration with Salesforce ($50 per month)

The great advantage for your organisations is that Generous for Charity is priced at a level that best suits your organisation. When you are ready to upgrade (or downgrade) just let us know and we will provision the new plan at no cost.

Notes

  • 1 At times some customers may require complex API integration with their unique CRMs or third party Apps. Our team can integrate with most third party apps depending on the suitablitiy of the API. This will require system analysis and a quote from our Customer Sales team. Please contact them at charity.sales@getgenerous.com.
  • 2 If someone uses the system to donate using Direct Debit instead of a Credit Card the fees are typically less being a 1% fee or 40c when a donation is less than $40.00. 
  • Contract term is month by month and can be easily cancelled if not fully satisfied. Please contact our customer service team.
  • All amounts stated are in Australian Dollars AUD and are GST/VAT/Tax ex.
